Tell me what is broken
One person reads this, and it is the same person who would build the fix.
No qualification call with someone who then hands you to someone else. Describe the system that is costing you time or money and you get back a real assessment of what it would take.
What to send
The more of this arrives first, the more useful the first reply is
- Name and company
- Platform
- Shopify, WordPress, or something else
- What breaks today
- the specific thing, not the general goal
- What it costs today
- in hours per week, in monthly subscription, or in orders you cannot take
- URL
- if the thing already exists
- Timeline
- when it needs to work
“Our site needs improving” produces a generic answer. “Three staff spend Mondays retyping wholesale orders from email into Shopify” produces a scope.
What happens next
The reply comes from the operator, not from a template
What it contains: whether the problem is the one you think it is, what the build would involve, and whether it is worth doing at all. Some of these answers are this does not need a custom build, here is the cheaper route.
Three to five active clients at a time. If the slots are full you will be told that, with a date, instead of being kept warm.
